These terms govern your use of Cashew. By using Cashew you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. Questions? kris.engelhardt4@gmail.com.
What Cashew does
Cashew helps you discover gift cards, store credit, refunds and rewards in your email by scanning, with your permission, for money-bearing messages and showing you what it finds. Cashew is a discovery tool — it does not hold, guarantee, or redeem your funds for you.
Your account & connection
- You must be at least 16 and provide accurate information.
- If you connect Gmail, you grant Cashew read-only access via Google OAuth. You can disconnect at any time.
- You're responsible for activity under your account.
Payment
- Finding your stash is free. Unlocking the full results of a scan is a one-time payment — there is no subscription and nothing recurring to cancel.
- If a scan finds no money, there is nothing to unlock and no charge.
- Prices may change with notice; changes apply to future purchases.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse Cashew: no attempting to access other users' data, no reverse-engineering, no automated abuse, no unlawful use.
No guarantee
Cashew uses heuristics to detect value in your email and may miss items or misjudge amounts. We don't guarantee that any detected gift card, credit, or reward is still valid, unredeemed, or redeemable. Always verify with the issuing brand.
Disclaimers & liability
Cashew is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cashew and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any lost funds, expired credits, or missed value. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.
Termination
You may stop using Cashew and delete your account anytime. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms; we'll revise the date above and notify you of material changes.
